Getting a Dog and a death in the family

Everyone in the house wants a dog....

My daughter goes up to my wife and says......

"Mommy, why can't we have a dog? You want one, I want one and my brother and sister want one!"

"Darling Daddy doesn't want a dog" was my wife's response.

My daughter waits a second and thoughtfully says
"Well I guess we'll have to wait for Daddy to die and then we can have a dog"

"Fat Ribs" is the simple, honest name given to breasts by a 4 yr old girl. They are ribs which are fat.

Makes perfect sense :)
